Virginia Beach

2 weekends ago (yep, I'm behind on posts again. will I ever get ahead?!?) Jake and I ventured south to Virginia Beach. It just so happens that this location is exactly the half way point between our family and the dear Peters family. Woo hoo! We camped at a state park and enjoyed plenty of sand between our toes, sunshine, and salty ocean waves. We all know that I'm a huge fan of the beach, but I'm an even bigger fan of being around these precious friends. Much talking of pregnancy, labor, and babies was had by us girls, and much hiking, biking, digging, climbing, machete chopping and slack line walking was had by the boys. It was the perfect mix. :)

It was a lovely time with a lot of fun memories. We're hoping to make this an annual thing while we're all living on the east coast. Next time we'll be a group of 6 instead of 4!!
